Originally from the suburbs of Chicago, he moved to New York by way of South Florida, drawn to its energy, culture and opportunity. Now a Brooklyn resident, he has developed a strong understanding of neighborhood character — from local culture to block-by-block nuances.
Real estate has long been part of his life: his grandfather was a developer and his mother is an interior designer. Before real estate, Russell spent seven years in the music industry, producing for film and television studios including HBO — work that sharpened his creativity, discipline and problem-solving.
Russell was recognized as a Top 10 agent at Platinum Forbes Global Properties in 2024 and 2025 and represented the buyer in the $5.7 million penthouse sale at The Huron, reported as the highest-priced condo sale in Greenpoint at the time.
Outside of real estate he produces music, plays piano and guitar, explores vintage fashion and styling, lifts and boxes, travels, and spends time with his Russian Blue cat, Nobi.
